Prospects of Cooperation in ES Notification Sphere Discussed

On January 20, the RA TAES Minister A. Yeritsyan received Felix de la Fuente, the sales & marketing manager of the international company Sepura.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss possible cooperation with the Ministry of TAES in Critical Communication industry. Expressing gratitude for the reception, Felix de la Fuente presented the scope of activities of Sepura company, stressing, that the company has great international experience in the field of emergency response.

- Our main direction is the management sphere. With our assistance national networks have been established in different countries, in Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Venice, USA. Our company is the world's second largest company in manufacturing cell equipment. Note, that the provision of the security systems of the upcoming Olympic Games is entrusted to our company. We want to fix the same success in the field of ES. In this regard, it is important for us to know the areas, that interest you the most.

  
 

Welcoming the guest and thanking for presenting the productive sphere of the company, Minister A. Yeritsyan noted, that TAES Ministry cooperates with about a dozen international organizations in ES sphere, representing countries such as Russia, Japan and Switzerland.

The Minister informed the guest, that public awareness is the most important area of MTAES.

-We have a Crisis Management National Center at the Ministry and regional CMCs operate in each region. This network has also been created in cooperation with international experts. The scope of our activities is quite broad, and the Ministry is multifunctional. Here, there is not only rescue service. The Ministry also provides territorial administration, the management of 915 communities of the republic is also one of the functions of TAES Ministry, - stressed A. Yeritsyan.

The meeting discussed the proposals of the company Sepura, aimed at connecting all communities of the RA to the national network by means of notification.

By Minister’s instructions, a working group will be established, headed by RS Deputy Director, r/s Colonel A. Tsolakyan, which will clarify the scopes of cooperation with the company Sepura.

The Sepura company was founded in 2002 and is mainly engaged in manufacturing of information technology, mobile phones and central emergency management systems. Sepura is a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of digital radio products, systems and applications developed specifically for critical communications.
